Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has insisted that his side's 3-0 win over Celtic this evening was not as easy as the scoreline suggests.
The Italian champions took the lead with three minutes on the clock through Alessandro Matri, before late strikes from Claudio Marchisio and Mirko Vucinic sealed the outcome.
However, despite the apparent ease of the match, Chilean international Vidal has admitted that Juve did not have it all their own way.
"Celtic are tough opponents, especially at home," UEFA's official website quotes him as saying.
"If you just look at the result you'd think it was an easy game for us, but it was not like that at all.
"We did well to control their attacks and then struck when chances came in the latter stages."
The return leg will be played in Turin during the first week of March.
