Inconsistent Juventus host an Inter Milan side which recently deposed them as Italian champions on Saturday evening, in the Derby d'Italia.
With their latest title defence having fallen flat, Juve now need to win in order to stay in the mix for a Champions League place next season, as they also prepare for next week's Coppa Italia final against Atalanta.
Fortunately, the Bianconeri are able to select from a full-strength squad this weekend, with no major injuries or illnesses to contend with for under-fire boss Andrea Pirlo.
Age-defying goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon last week announced he would be leaving the club for the final time at the end of the season - and, soon after, saved Domenico Berardi's penalty in the 3-1 win at Sassuolo. However, usual first-choice Wojciech Szczesny will be pushing the 43-year-old hard for a return to the team, as Pirlo's man-management will again be put to the test.
Buffon's fellow veteran Giorgio Chiellini was given a rest in midweek, but is generally selected for the most high-profile fixtures and could come back in for his erstwhile defensive partner Leonardo Bonucci.
On Wednesday, Colombian wide man Juan Cuadrado made way for the more offensive option of young Dejan Kulusevski, but the former Chelsea man is expected to slot back into the XI against opponents whose wing-backs are particularly potent.
Pirlo must also mull over whether to bring in midfield mainstay Rodrigo Bentancur too, or instead offer the underused Arthur a second successive start.
Meanwhile, up front, both Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala both celebrated their 100th goals for the club last time out, so should remain in place as the hosts' front two. Alvaro Morata and Kulusevski will therefore wait in the wings, hoping to make a second-half impact.
Juventus possible starting lineup: Szczesny; Danilo, De Ligt, Chiellini, Sandro; Cuadrado, Bentancur, Rabiot, Chiesa; Dybala, Ronaldo
