Juventus have confirmed that midfielder Sami Khedira will miss the next two months through injury.
The 28-year-old joined the Bianconeri earlier this summer from Real Madrid after the expiration of his contract with the Spaniards.
However, the German suffered a tear in his right thigh during a friendly against Marseille at the weekend and will now have to wait to make his competitive debut for the Old Lady.
Khedira was part of the Germany squad that lifted the World Cup last summer.
