Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has said that his team will face "increased competition" to win Serie A next season.
The Turin giants have landed the Serie A title in each of the last six seasons, and have already been installed as the favourites to secure a 34th Italian title during the 2017-18 campaign.
AC Milan have spent big this summer in a bid to return to the summit, however, while runners-up Roma only finished four points behind Juventus in last season's race for the title.
Allegri has claimed that "five or more teams" could win the title this season as the 49-year-old gears up for an "intriguing" campaign.
"We will see increased competition this season. This season it will be, right from the beginning, important to get points and compete against those rivals," Allegri told reporters.
"One of the intriguing things is that it's not like last year. You're playing against five or more teams that are competing for the Scudetto, so it will be much more competitive."
Juventus will continue their preparations for the new campaign with a friendly against Roma in Massachusetts on Sunday.
