Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has admitted that he is confused as to why his side have struggled for form this season.
The Turin side find themselves mid-table this term after already losing more games this season than the entirety of last term when they won Serie A.
Form is beginning to return after three wins in their previous five games, but Allegri concedes that Juve need to start gaining consecutive victories.
"Given our position in the table now, this is an important game," he told reporters. "We just want to keep rising up the rankings. We need to get back to winning away and try to win two games in a row in Serie A.
"I don't know why we haven't managed to do that yet. In football, it can be hard to give explanations sometimes. All that matters is what happens on the field."
Juventus are next in action away against Empoli tomorrow at the Stadio Carlo Castellani.
