Juventus manager Antonio Conte has declared that his "extraordinary" players deserve enormous credit after they wrapped up a second successive Serie A crown this afternoon.
The Old Lady made sure of the title with three games to spare as Arturo Vidal's penalty secured a 1-0 win against Palermo at home.
After serving a touchline ban for the first half of an impressive campaign, Conte has shared his pride at the efforts of his entire Juve squad.
He told Sky Italia: "We are very happy and satisfied. The credit goes to these extraordinary lads who went through a tough and tiring season, but were always on point.
"I am proud of them, as it was not easy to win this year despite being favourites, as we knew the Champions League would take a lot of energy out of us.
"We won the title with a triumphant march to secure it four rounds early and I will never stop thanking the players, plus the club and my staff who more than ever had to take a key role thanks to my time in the stands."
Conte's men have lost just four of their 35 Serie A matches and secured the Scudetto after a run of eight successive league wins.
