Juventus coach Antonio Conte has said that he is pleased with his team's performance in this evening's 2-1 victory over Pescara.
The Bianconeri peppered the visitors' goal at the Juventus Stadium, but had to wait until the 72nd minute before Mirko Vucinic converted the first of his two goals from the penalty spot.
Conte praised Delfini goalkeeper Ivan Pelizzoli for his heroics in goal, as well as Emmanuel Cascione's consolation.
"It had seemed to be a cursed game," Football Italia quotes Conte as saying. "We were shooting from all angles, getting the goalkeeper or the woodwork. Pelizzoli had a fantastic game.
"Pescara also scored an incredible goal with Emmanuel Cascione, as perhaps we should've been a bit calmer after that. We were a little nervous that we'd ruin it all the same way we did against Sampdoria.
"This was not an easy victory, but I am happy with the performance and relieved because these are three fundamental points."
The result sees Juve pull 12 points clear of Napoli at the top of Serie A.
