Juventus striker Fernando Llorente has insisted that he supports Antonio Conte's decision to ease him in slowly to life in Serie A.
Llorente made his first start for the Old Lady in the weekend's 2-1 win over Hellas Verona and scored the winner with a header just before half time.
"I normally take a bit of time to hit form and knew I'd have to work a great deal, also because I pretty much missed the whole of last season," Football Italia quotes him as saying.
"In addition I needed to settle in and learn the language and adapting to a new environment is never an easy task for anyone.
"I'm getting on great here and feel the coach has faith in me, but I know I need to keep working to get back into peak condition."
The 28-year-old joined Juventus on a free transfer from Athletic Bilbao during the summer.
