Juventus director Pavel Nedved has revealed his delight with his side's display in their 2-0 win over Fiorentina.
Two first-half goals from Mirko Vucinic and Alessandro Matri secured all three points for the Turin side, who have moved five points clear at the top in Serie A.
Juve legend Nedved praised the performance of Antonio Conte's men and described the game as a "great test of character".
"We are very satisfied with how the team approached the match," said the former Czech Republic international.
"Fiorentina play a great style of football, they have a more than capable coach and a dangerous team. But today we really wanted the three points and played well to get them.
"It was a great test of character and everyone worked towards the same goal. In January, we had a slight dip in form but you can't be at the top of your game over the course of a whole season."
Juventus now face Celtic in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
