Former Juventus boss Giovanni Trapattoni urges Antonio Conte to build on his success in Turin and resist offers to move abroad.

Former Juventus coach Giovanni Trapattoni has declared that Antonio Conte should resist the temptation to seek a move away from Turin.

Conte is on the verge of securing back-to-back Serie A titles with the Old Lady, but has been linked with a move away from Juventus in recent weeks.

Trapattoni believes that Conte should be proud of the side he has built in Italy and resist the temptation to seek a new challenge at this stage.

He told Eurosport: "Antonio's work is excellent and he should continue with this team. He has a strong side with a great collective and a clear and effective style of football.

"Many years ago I was a young Coach achieving success and I had someone whispering in my ear that I should change country, even if at that time it was unusual. When I told a friend that I was going to Bayern Munich, he said I should watch out, as the more forests you travel in, the more wolves you find. He was right.

"Going abroad is a great unknown and before taking that step you need to have a lot of experience in Italy. I thought long and hard before leaving Serie A, so I suggest Conte does the same."

Trapattoni won six Serie A titles during two spells in charge of Juve, which spanned more than 14 years.
