David Beckham has reportedly made Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo the top transfer target for his new MLS side Inter Miami.
The new Florida-based franchise - due to begin playing in 2020 - officially unveiled its name and badge yesterday, four-and-a-half years after Beckham first revealed his plans to run a side.
According to the Daily Mail, ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Ronaldo is the number one target for Miami, and they will look to offer him the chance to end his playing career Stateside.
By the time the new side launches, Ronaldo will be aged 35 and approaching one year remaining on his agreement with Juventus, and the newspaper claims that Beckham will leverage his "extensive network of contacts" to try to get a deal done.
Other names linked with Miami include Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao and James Milner.
