Stephan Lichtsteiner has insisted that he will not be moving to the Chinese Super League this summer following the expiration of his Juventus contract.
The Switzerland international will move on from Juventus ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, and Borussia Dortmund - in addition to a number of Chinese clubs - have been linked with the wing-back.
However, Lichtsteiner has revealed that talks with Dortmund have ended, and the 34-year-old will also not be making the move to China because he 'does not need to chase money'.
"I'm definitely not going to China. I don't chase money and I need a certain quality of life in my next move. My wife and my children need to feel good, which wouldn't be the case in China. And I don't need more money," Lichtsteiner told Blick.
"I'm not going to BVB. We couldn't come to an agreement. There's nothing more to say about that."
Lichtsteiner has won seven Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia crowns during his time at Juventus.
