Pescara midfielder Marco Veratti has revealed that he will join Paris Saint-Germain after agreeing terms with the French club.
The 19-year-old was widely expected to join Juventus this summer after impressing last season, but it is understood that the Italian will complete a medical with the Ligue 1 outfit on Tuesday.
"I cannot wait to start. It was an opportunity I could not miss out on. I'm excited because I'm going to play with champions that I have been watching only on television. But I will keep Pescara in my heart. I will return as soon as possible," he told Sky Sport Italia.
Veratti made 31 appearances for Pescara last season.
