Serie A newcomers Sassuolo have captured Swiss full-back Reto Ziegler on a season-long loan from Juventus.
The 27-year-old signed for the Bianconeri in May 2011 but has since had two loan spells at Fenerbahce separated by six months at Lokomotiv Moscow.
Aged 18, Ziegler made his Premier League debut for Tottenham Hotspur under then-manager Jacques Santini, but he failed to make the grade at White Hart Lane and was eventually sold to Sampdoria in 2007.
After four years at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, Juve boss Antonio Conte snatched him on a free transfer after the club suffered relegation to Serie B.
