Sports Mole previews Sunday's Turkish Super Lig clash between Kasimpasa and Gaziantep, including predictions, team news and possible lineups.
Sports Mole

Kasimpasa will be looking to extend their winning run to four games on Sunday when they welcome 12th-placed Gaziantep to the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium on Sunday.

The visitors could move into the top half with a victory, as the club aims to secure a consecutive victory this weekend.

Match preview

Kasimpasa have been impressive throughout the month of March, winning all three of their games in that period, scoring eight goals in the process.

The team have climbed up to 13th in the Turkish Super Lig by dominating their recent matches, and they will be aiming to continue that this weekend.

With Gaziantep directly above them in the league, this match will act as a great opportunity for the hosts to climb up, possibly as high as 11th depending on other results.

Jackson Muleka and Ahmet Engin both got on the scoresheet last weekend during the 2-0 win over Yeni Malatyaspor, and the pressure is now on them to continue that.

However, when these two teams met earlier this season it was Gaziantep who took all three points, and now Umit Sengul will be hoping his team can get revenge on Sunday.

While Kasimpasa have been in good form overall, the visitors are also coming into this match on the back of a victory, which got them back on track.

The squad had been struggling prior to that after five matches without a victory, and they will now be hoping to push for another one at the first time of asking.

Gaziantep do sit above their opponents right now, with a victory having the chance of taking them up to ninth place depending on the results of those above them.

However, the squad have the second-worst away record in the Turkish Super Lig right now, having only managed to win once on the road throughout this campaign.

They have only score nine goals in their 15 matches outside of their own ground, and that is something that they need to improve upon.

Team News

Kasimpasa are missing both Jeffrey Bruma and Sakib Aytac with the duo currently injured, which has been the case for the squad recently.

However, the hosts will have the benefit of bringing back Tarkan Serbest into the squad after he missed the most recent fixture due to suspension.

The visitors are dealing with a long list of injury problems right now, which is stretching the squad with Torgeir Borven (groin) and Alexander Merkel (knee) both hurt at the moment.

Hamza Mendyl and Luka Stankovski are also on the shelf, but Steven Caulker will be working in the heart of the defence, bringing plenty of experience to the squad.

Kasimpasa possible starting lineup:
Taskiran; Ouanes, Spajic, Donk, Hadergjonaj; Haspolat, Muleka, Mabil, Eysseric, Hajradinovic; Buzok

Gaziantep possible starting lineup:
Guvenc; Djilobodji, Caulker, Tosca; Kitsiou, Niyaz, Erdogan, Maxim, Sagal; Demir, Figueiredo

We say: Kasimpasa 2-1 Gaziantep

Both teams are close in the league table right now, with just two points separating them, and because of that, it will likely be a close match this weekend.

The hosts are a strong squad that are in great form right now, and having the advantage of their own fans could prove to be the difference on Sunday.
