Both Kayserispor and Caykur Rizespor are hoping to pick up consecutive victories when they face off in the Super Lig on Friday.
The hosts sit in 15th position - 12 points above the relegation zone - while the visitors are heading towards the drop with 10 points separating them from safety.
Match preview
Despite languishing just outside the relegation zone, Kayserispor's place in the top flight looks all but secured with just six games remaining in the season.
After ending a run of five consecutive league defeats with a victory in their most recent outing, Hikmet Karaman's outfit enjoy a 12-point cushion over the bottom four.
All three goals in their 2-1 victory over Goztepe last weekend were scored in the first half, with Emrah Bassan and Olivier Kemen netting to give Kayserispor a two-goal lead, and though Franco Di Santo halved the deficit before the break, with no goals forthcoming in the second period, Karaman's side took home all three points.
Not only did that win help Kayserispor put more distance between them and the relegation zone, but it also represented just their second away league victory of the season.
Karaman will be hoping that his players can take confidence from the win over Goztepe as they bid to end a run of three consecutive home league defeats, and he will also be looking for a strong defensive performance after witnessing his team conceded nine goals across their last three home league encounters.
Unlike their opponents, Caykur Rizespor's survival bid looks to be a fruitless one, with Friday's visitors 10 points adrift of safety ahead of the weekend's round of fixtures.
If they are to stand any chance of remaining in the top flight, then they must string a number of wins together, and recent results suggest that they could finish the season strong after picking up two wins from their last three matches.
Last weekend, they edged out Konyapsor courtesy of a 2-1 home win, with Zymer Bytyqi giving the visitors the lead in that contest, but the hosts hit back before half time thanks to Yannick Bolasie's 43rd-minute equaliser.
Caykur Rizespor were given a boost when their opponents were reduced to 10-men following Amilton's second yellow card, and with less than 15 minutes remaining Joel Pohjanpalo scored what proved to be the winner for the hosts, while Amar Rahmanovic's red card ensured the visitors would finish with just nine players.
Despite picking up six points from their last three games, Bulent Korkmaz needs his side to improve on their travels, with Caykur Rizespor still waiting for their first away win of the season.

Team News
Despite scoring last weekend, Kemen will miss Friday's contest through suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
With Kemen unavailable, Karaman is expected to bring Andreas Bertolacci back into the starting lineup.
Onur Bulut is expected to return to the side after serving a one-match suspension, while Mario Gavranovic is set to replace Mustafa Pektemek upfront.
The visitors, on the other hand, are expected to be without Yusuf Sari with the 23-year-old set to miss out through injury for consecutive games.
Bryan Dabo could return to the squad after missing the match against Konyaspor due to suspension.
Meanwhile, Papiss Cisse is expected to keep his place in the side after starting last weekend.
Kayserispor possible starting lineup:
Lung Jr.; Bulut, Hosseini, Cetin, Carole; Cardoso, Attamah, Campanharo, Bertolacci, Thiam; Gavranovic
Caykur Rizespor possible starting lineup:
Cetin; Gonul, Sertel, Ay, Albayrak; Baiano, Fernandes; Boyd, Sabo, Bolasie; Cisse
We say: Kayserispor 2-1 Caykur Rizespor
Caykur Rizespor know they will have to pull off a great escape if they are to remain in the top-flight, but with the visitors still winless on the road this season, we think they will leave Kadir Has Stadium empty-handed.
