Los Angeles Galaxy have come from two goals behind to beat Real Salt Lake 3-2 thanks to two goals from Landon Donovan in Utah.
Salt Lake started the better of the two teams and were ahead after only nine minutes when Fabian Espindola released Kyle Beckerman, who proceeded to calmly slot the ball past Josh Saunders.
Galaxy were rocked by the goal but nearly levelled the scoring on 20 minutes as David Beckham just missed the target with a long-range strike.
However, it was the hosts who scored the second goal of the game when Espindola once again provided an assist, this time for Alvaro Saborio and the striker smashed the ball into the bottom corner.
The visitors did manage to pull a goal back before the interval when Landon Donovan forced his way into the box before finishing well from a tight angle to give Galaxy hope.
Los Angeles did level the scores just five minutes into the second half when Mike Magee collected a pass from Donovan before driving the ball past Nick Rimando in the Salt Lake goal.
Salt Lake struggled to cope following the equaliser as Galaxy started to take control of the match.
The MLS champions found a winner to complete the fightback with 20 minutes remaining was Donovan was put through by Magee after a counter attack and the American finished comfortably for his second of the game.
