David Beckham has "absolutely no plans" to leave Los Angeles Galaxy and move to Australia's A-league, according to the player's spokesman.
It had earlier been reported that an agent representing the 37-year-old had approached Football Federation Australia regarding a possible move to an A-League club, but Beckham's management have moved quickly to deny any possible move.
A spokesman said: "There is always interest from clubs across the world in signing David as a player.
"However, there are absolutely no plans to play in Australia.
"David is completely focused on the MLS playoffs and winning another championship with the Galaxy."
Alessandro del Piero and Emile Heskey have recently made the move Down Under.
