Ashley Cole could reportedly be offered a return to English football by a number of clubs following his release by Los Angeles Galaxy.
The former England international has previously spent 15 years in the Premier League with Arsenal and Chelsea, winning the title with both sides.
Cole is now officially a free agent ahead of the January transfer window, as Galaxy did not take up the option of extending his contract - one of eight players to be released by the Major League Soccer side.
According to The Mirror, the left-back's availability may see a number of Championship sides step forward with a contract offer in the New Year.
With 107 caps to his name between 2001 and 2014, Cole is England's sixth most-capped player of all time.
