Marlo Marquez has stepped down as head coach of Las Palmas after just three months in the role.
The Canary Islands side have had an underwhelming start to the new season, losing four of their six La Liga games to date to leave them 15th in the table.
Marquez was handed the top job in July after impressing with his work managing the side's B team, who were promoted to the Spanish third tier last term.
Despite his resignation as head coach, Marquez is expected to remain at the club working in the areas of training and recruitment.
Juan Carlos Valeron and Paquito Ortiz will take temporary charge until a permanent successor is appointed.
