Latvia and Iceland have been unable to break the deadlock as they enter the half-time break with the score level at 0-0 in the Euro 2016 Group A game.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson headed over for the visitors in the opening exchanges before Aleksandrs Fertovs came close for Latvia in the 11th minute as the game began rather slowly.

Gylfi Sigurdsson was at the centre of most of Iceland's attacks, but he curled wide from distance before placing a free kick just wide of the post.

Emil Hallfredsson was the next Iceland player to try his luck, but his 28th-minute shot also flew wide of the upright as Latvia held on to stay level after 45 minutes.
