Iceland have taken a 1-0 lead in at half time against Turkey in the first match of their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
The home side had the lead on 18 minutes when Jon Dadi Bodvarsson found the net on 18 minutes to claim his first-ever international goal.
The 22-year-old had the ball in the net after nodding home at the back post after a mistake from the goalkeeper.
The home side closed the half in the ascendancy and Gylfi Sigurdsson combined well with Bodvarsson towards the end of the first period, but the promising attack eventually broke down.
