Lazio coach Stefano Pioli has blamed his side's inability to keep possession for Sunday's 2-2 draw with Inter Milan.
The Biancazzurri moved into a 2-0 half-time lead at the San Siro before Inter fought back to earn a point in the Serie A clash.
Pioli believes that his team's failure to close out the match was the main reason why they did not leave Milan with a victory.
"It's a shame," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "We should have kept the ball more and controlled possession, but Inter were extremely aggressive.
"Obviously winning 2-0 at half time we wanted to win, but we misplaced a few passes, poor clearances and were unable to get the victory."
The result has moved Lazio up to third place in the Serie A table.
