Lazio have registered a comfortable 3-0 victory over Udinese at home in Rome to move up to fifth in Serie A.
The hosts could have taken the lead as early as the 11th minute when they were awarded a penalty after Willians handled the ball inside the Udinese penalty area.
However, Cristian Ledesma failed to capitalise on it as his spot kick was saved by Bianconeri goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic.
Lazio did not have to wait long, though, to make the breakthrough at the Stadio Olimpico, as Alvaro Gonzalez latched on to Stefano Mauri's through-ball and fired in from close range in the 17th minute.
Then just after the half-hour mark Mauri once again turned provider, this time setting up Miroslav Klose for Lazio's second goal of the evening.
Brazilian playmaker Hernanes wrapped up the points for Vladimir Petkovic's side just before the hour mark when he scored from a direct free kick.
