Lazio striker Miroslav Klose has signed a new one-year deal with the Serie A club.
The 35-year-old German, who was due to be a free agent this summer, also has the option to stay on for a further 12 months at the Stadio Olimpico.
Klose has scored eight goals in 25 games for the Biancocelesti so far this season.
"I'm really happy to continue my adventure with Lazio," the veteran forward told the club's official website.
"I've had many proposals but I decided to continue this way because I am part of an important plan and have an important role in this project."
Klose joined Lazio from Bayern Munich in 2011.
