A report in Italy claims that Lazio are hoping to take Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato back to Serie A.

Lazio have reportedly made former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato one of their major summer transfer targets.

The Brazilian spent five years with the Rossoneri prior to returning to his homeland with Corinthians in 2012.

At present, the 25-year-old is in the middle of a two-season loan stint at Sao Paulo, but that has not perturbed Lazio, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport .

The report adds that Le Aquile have set aside £5m to bring the forward back to Serie A - a league in which he scored 51 goals in the red and black stripes of Milan.
