Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including Sunderland vs. Coventry.

Cardiff vs. Blackburn (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Cardiff City play host to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon looking to bounce back from seeing their prolonged unbeaten run come to an end in midweek.

At a time when the Bluebirds sit in 21st position in the Championship table, the visitors have dropped down to 10th spot after three successive defeats.

We say: Cardiff City 2-1 Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn have the potential to drop further down the table quickly, heaping the pressure on Eustace and his players. We do not feel that will benefit them this weekend, with Cardiff's momentum at home likely to remain as they secure another hard-fought win.

Middlesbrough vs. Luton (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Middlesbrough play host to Luton Town on Saturday afternoon looking for the win that may move the club into the Championship playoff places.

At a time when Boro sit in eighth position in the table, Luton have recently improved to progress into 19th spot.

We say: Middlesbrough 1-1 Luton Town

With Boro having finally hit the goal trail in midweek, they will be confident on building on that performance. However, Luton may have finally turned the corner, leading us to predict a hard-fought draw for the Hatters this weekend.

Stoke vs. Millwall (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Both looking to build on Wednesday night wins, Stoke City and playoff hopefuls Millwall will clash for a Championship battle at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Potters recorded a comfortable success at Blackburn Rovers earlier this week, whilst the Lions defeated promotion favourites Leeds United in the capital.

We say: Stoke City 1-0 Millwall

After hard-fought wins over Burnley and Leeds at The Den, we feel that Millwall could run out of steam on the road in Staffordshire on Saturday afternoon.

A drop in energy levels from the Lions should open the door for Stoke to collect their third straight victory in the Championship ahead of the international pause.

Derby vs. Plymouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Both buoyed by second-tier successes earlier in the week, Derby County and Plymouth Argyle will meet at Pride Park for a Championship battle on Saturday afternoon.

The Rams managed to collect maximum points on the road at Coventry City, whilst the Pilgrims enjoyed a major boost in the race for safety, beating relegation rivals Portsmouth.

We say: Derby County 1-0 Plymouth Argyle

After a much-needed win at Coventry earlier in the week, Derby should be confident of putting a struggling Plymouth outfit to the sword at Pride Park.

Despite their recent home success over bottom side Portsmouth, we are not expecting the Pilgrims to record back-to-back maximums, with their woeful away form likely to continue this weekend.

Leeds vs. QPR (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Aiming to return to top two in the Championship table after a rare midweek defeat, Leeds United will welcome Queens Park Rangers to Elland Road on Saturday.

The two teams are already separated by 16 points in England's second tier, with the hosts two points outside of the automatic promotion spots and their visitors sat 23rd.

We say: Leeds United 3-0 Queens Park Rangers

Leeds United have excelled on home turf this season and should have more than enough quality to record another comfortable victory against a Queens Park Rangers side lacking any momentum.

Norwich vs. Bristol City (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Norwich City and Bristol City meet at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon with both teams looking to move into the top 10 of the Championship table.

Despite sitting in 12th and 11th position respectively, these two teams have struggled to record wins in recent weeks.

We say: Norwich City 2-1 Bristol City

While Bristol City have shown enough in recent weeks to suggest that they will continue to be difficult to beat, we cannot ignore Norwich's home form. The Canaries may have struggled of late, but they have our backing to edge this contest in the closing stages.

Portsmouth vs. Preston (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Portsmouth will welcome Preston North End on Saturday for an important game at the bottom end of the Championship table.

With both teams winless in four league games, the hosts find themselves at the bottom of the division, while their visitors only lead the relegation zone on goal difference.

We say: Portsmouth 1-2 Preston North End

With both sides desperate for three points to strengthen their position in the fight at the bottom end of the Championship, we anticipate a tight contest at Fratton Park on Saturday.

Given the hosts' defensive frailties, we back Paul Heckingbottom's men to end their wait for a fourth league victory of the season.

Sunderland vs. Coventry (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Aiming to extend their lead at the top of the second-tier standings, Sunderland will welcome managerless Coventry City to the Stadium of Light for a Championship match on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Cats are back in the North-East after consecutive away stalemates, whilst the Sky Blues are reeling from the announcement of a serious change to the coaching staff at the club.

We say: Sunderland 2-0 Coventry City

After back-to-back away clean sheets and goalless draws, league leaders Sunderland will be desperate to get back to winning ways versus a managerless Coventry outfit.

The Sky Blues will be under interim management at the Stadium of Light, where we expect the visitors to slump to their eighth defeat of the Championship term.
