Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including Leeds United vs. Middlesbrough.

Burnley vs. Derby (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Burnley, vying for the Championship title, will host relegation-threatened Derby County at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening for matchday 20 of the 2024-25 season.

The hosts are third in the table with 37 points from 19 outings, while the visitors are 16th in the standings with 20 points from their first 19 games.

We say: Burnley 2-0 Derby County

Burnley are undoubtedly the favourites heading into this match, with the home advantage and better form on their side, leading us to believe they will secure a commanding victory.

Luton vs. Stoke (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Two teams towards the bottom of the Championship table are set to come together on Tuesday evening when Luton Town host Stoke City at Kenilworth Road for matchday 20 of the season.

The hosts are 18th in the table with 19 points from 19 games, while the visitors are in 15th with 21 points from their first 19 fixtures.

We say: Luton Town 2-1 Stoke City

Neither side is having a strong season so far, with both struggling in recent weeks, but with Luton having the home advantage, where they have lost just one of their last eight matches, we expect a victory for the hosts.

Plymouth vs. Swansea (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Plymouth Argyle, aiming to climb out of the relegation zone, are set to host Swansea City at Home Park on Tuesday evening in the Championship.

The hosts are 22nd in the table with 17 points from 18 games, while the visitors are sitting 13th in the standings with 24 points from 19 outings.

We say: Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Swansea City

Plymouth are in dreadful form heading into this game, while Swansea will be boosted by their recent performances and results, leading us to believe the visitors will win here.

Portsmouth vs. Norwich (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Portsmouth will be bidding to continue their strong form in the Championship when they welcome Norwich City to Fratton Park on Tuesday night for what is shaping up to be an intriguing affair.

The hosts will enter the contest off the back of a 3-0 victory over Bristol City, which moved them off the bottom of the Championship table, while 10th-placed Norwich lost 3-0 at Queens Park Rangers.

We say: Portsmouth 1-1 Norwich City

There has not been a draw between these two sides since a Premier League clash in January 2005, but we can see the points being shared on Tuesday. Portsmouth will enter the match in the stronger form, but Norwich are certainly good enough to claim a point at Fratton Park.

Sheff Weds vs. Blackburn (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Sheffield Wednesday are set to welcome promotion hopefuls Blackburn Rovers to Hillsborough on Tuesday in their 20th Championship match of 2024-25.

The home team are ninth with 26 points and drew 1-1 with Preston North End on Saturday, while their opponents have played 18 games and are in sixth place with 31 points following their 1-0 victory against Hull City on December 7.

We say: Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn have proven to be resilient defensively in recent weeks, and it would not be surprising if they prevented their hosts from creating many opportunities in front of goal.

Additionally, Sheffield Wednesday's record at home is concerning, and they may struggle to get back into the game should they concede first.

Leeds vs. Middlesbrough (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

In a match that could have ramifications on both the battle for promotion and the battle for the title, Leeds United will host Middlesbrough at Elland Road on Tuesday in their 20th Championship game of the season.

Leeds are second, occupying one of two automatic promotion spots with 38 points, and they beat Derby County 2-0 on Saturday, while the away team are fifth with 31 points and drew 1-1 with third-placed Burnley on Friday.

We say: Leeds United 3-2 Middlesbrough

Leeds should come into the clash as slight favourites due to their exceptional home record and strong defensive performances in recent weeks.

Middlesbrough have struggled to keep opponents at bay, but they have been phenomenal in attack, and while they might lose on Tuesday due to their leaky defence, they will no doubt create chances in front of goal.
