Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has insisted that his players should be "proud" of themselves for their results in cup competitions this season.
Their run in the FA Cup was ended by Manchester City earlier today as the hosts ran out 4-0 winners at the Etihad Stadium.
However, Warnock has told his squad that they can be pleased with their efforts throughout the campaign.
"In the first 10 minutes, I think it was a lesson for the young lads and I was quite pleased they did not fold," he told ESPN. "Let's be fair though, they are still miles better than us.
"We beat Tottenham; Everton and Southampton have had great runs in both cups, so the players should be proud."
Leeds are currently 12th in the Championship table.
