Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa felt his side fully deserved their dramatic 3-2 win over Blackburn at Elland Road.
Kemar Roofe scored twice in stoppage time as the Championship leaders stretched their winning run to seven games.
United took a lead into the break after Derrick Williams turned Jack Harrison's cross into his own net after 33 minutes.
But Charlie Mulgrew levelled from the spot after 47 minutes after he had been fouled by Luke Ayling and then curled home a beautiful 25-yard free-kick in the 90th minute.
But Roofe smashed home the loose ball after Raya Martin had saved in the first minute of time added on and then headed home three minutes later to give the Yorkshire side a stunning win.
Bielsa said: "It was moving for all of us. Football can give these emotions. That is why nothing compares to football.
"We deserved to win, but it should have been easier. We had the obligation to win which was not the case at Aston Villa.
"There was a lot of unnecessary stress to win the game. We changed the destiny of the game late on, we deserved to win the game but in another way.
"We needed to have more impact in the first half and we needed to defend better in the second half. We deserved to win but we could have lost it at the end as well.
"We will analyse this game when it has all died down. Late wins like this are important because it is not easy to win games in the a tight league like the Championship."
Rovers boss Tony Mowbray conceded his side had chucked it all away.
He said: "We worked extraordinarily hard. Leeds are a great team but we managed to throw it away in added time. But there are so many positives to take.
"It is a quiet dressing room, I am proud of the team and the way they played and the effort and desire they showed. We took Leeds all the way and we are not far away from being a good side/
"Stats add up though and it's been a while since we got a win. We have hard fixtures coming up but if we show the same qualities we will be OK.
"We showed we are a decent side. The game management was not there and we should have seen the game out and slowed the game down at the end.
"It is frustrating, we needed to get hold of the ball and stop it coming back, we needed to be braver. It is a lesson to be learned."
