Republic of Ireland midfielder Paul Green has said that he is enjoying the opportunity to work with assistant manager Roy Keane.
The Leeds United player featured in Martin O'Neill's first two games in charge this week against Latvia and Poland.
However, Green has admitted that he has been pleased to work with former Manchester United midfielder Keane on the training field.
When asked if Keane was an influence upon his career, Green told TEAMtalk: "Yes - I think everyone looked up to him, really. He has won that many titles, he has been a great pro and a great player.
"It's been brilliant. He just said to stay behind the ball and break things up. It's always nice to get the perspective of a great midfielder like Roy.
"With Roy, he has played in that position and you take things in from such a legend. I did that and I felt I did a good job."
Green has won 19 caps for Ireland.
