Paul Ince has been touted as Leeds United's possible new manager following the departure of Simon Grayson.
The Whites boss was sacked on Wednesday following a string of disappointing results, which included three defeats in a row during the hectic festive period.
The Championship club are considering their options, with Huddersfield Town's Lee Clark emerging as the favourite to take the helm at Elland Road.
Despite these reports, it is thought that Ince is now in line for the managerial position, according to Sky Sports News.
The former Manchester United player has been out of work since leaving Notts County in April last year.
