Garry Monk has reportedly opened talks with Leeds United over the vacant managerial position at Elland Road.
On Tuesday, Leeds announced that they had parted company with Steve Evans, and several bookmakers soon made Monk the favourite to be appointed as the new boss of the Championship outfit.
According to Sky Sports News, the former Swansea City manager is already in negotiations with the Yorkshire giants as both parties look to come to an agreement ahead of the summer.
Monk has been out of work since leaving the Liberty Stadium in December after winning 28 of his 77 games in charge of the Welsh club.
