Leeds United manager Brian McDermott has claimed that the club need stability following another disappointing result on Tuesday night.
McDermott admitted that the uncertainty surrounding Massimo Cellino's prospective takeover is having a negative influence at Elland Road following the 4-2 defeat to Reading in the Championship.
"Uncertainty over the future ownership has been dragging on for such a long time that there is apprehension around the place and the main conversation is about the ownership," the Leeds manager told reporters.
"Leeds have had a lot of managers in the last 10 or 11 years. I want to try and break that cycle.
"I know it is a results business but we have had no stability here for a long time. Obviously it would help if the manager knew who the owner was going to be."
Leeds are now 13th in the Championship, 11 points outside the playoff places.
