Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has admitted that his side "lacked menace" after they surrendered their three-game winning run with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.
Goals from Sam Baldock and Inigo Calderon moved Brighton six points clear of the relegation zone and to within four points of Redfearn's side, whose lacklustre performance was acknowledged by the Leeds manager.
"Brighton were very good and it was nothing like how we can play. We lacked menace going forward and we made bad decisions. We didn't put pressure on them," Redfearn told Leeds United TV.
Leeds continue their season when they host Watford on Saturday.
