Newcastle United have reportedly agreed a new bumper deal with winger Jacob Murphy, to keep him at the club until 2027.
The Magpies announced on Wednesday that Murphy had signed a new contract with the club alongside centre-back Federico Fernandez and forward Dwight Gayle, but did not divulge the length of any of the three deals.
According to Football Insider, the North-East club have tied the 26-year-old down to an improved six-year deal to keep him at the club until 2027.
The deal comes amidst supposed interest in Murphy, with Rangers, Southampton and Leeds United all said to have been keeping tabs on Newcastle's converted wing-back this summer.
Murphy arrived at St James' Park from Norwich City in 2017, and has made 72 appearances in all competitions including 60 games in the English top flight.
Manager Steve Bruce was reportedly keen to tie Murphy down after he fielded the Englishman in every minute of Newcastle's final eight Premier League games of the season. body check tags ::
