Leeds United captain Lee Peltier has admitted that the club could mount a late push for the Championship playoffs.
Neil Warnock's side have taken seven points out of a possible last nine to move up to ninth in the table, six points adrift of sixth-placed Brighton & Hove Albion.
"I'd rather be going into the playoff places coming in from the outside instead of being under pressure in there," Peltier told Telegraph & Argus.
"Every year you see a late charge from somebody, and hopefully that will be us this season.
"We've now had three clean sheets in a row and are improving every game. We've had three games now and three good results."
Leeds beat Millwall 1-0 at Elland Road on Saturday.
