Leeds United striker Dominic Poleon has admitted that he is keen to keep up his form in pre-season to try to break into the starting lineup.
Poleon has netted in both of United's friendly matches, and the former Southend United trainee has revealed that he has worked hard during the summer break to try to feature on a more regular basis.
The 19-year-old told Yorkshire Radio: "It is massively important. Before we came away, I had a good summer and worked hard, and the manager has said that I have come back looking stronger and fitter.
"Fingers crossed, this season will be a big season for me and hopefully I can play myself into the team and I just have to keep up my form."
Poleon scored twice in six Championship games last season, while he also went on loan to Sheffield United and Bury.
