Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has expressed his support towards owner Massimo Cellino, who has been asked to resign from his position by the Football League.
The organisation disqualified the Italian from owning the Championship club due to his breaching its 'fit and proper' ownership test in relation to a tax evasion case in his homeland.
Today, Redfearn told reporters: "Everything he's done is in the best interests of the club. Hand on heart, I honestly believe it. We're fortunate to have an owner who's football daft and who loves the club."
Cellino intends to remain as owner and will appeal the Football League's ruling.
