Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler has praised the club's fans after their pre-season win over Everton.
United beat the Merseysiders 2-0 thanks to goals from Alex Mowatt and new signing Chris Wood.
"It's another step in the right direction for us," Rosler told the club's official website. "Everton struggled to deal with our shape.
"We're still not where we want to be but we've come a long way in the last six weeks. We missed two key players today. I'm not used to 17 thousand fans at a pre-season friendly - it inspired the players.
When asked about potential signings, the German replied "It's fair to say we are hopeful of bringing in a new player on Monday."
The player is thought to be Brentford midfielder Stuart Dallas.
