Former Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella has admitted that he has "unfinished business" with Leeds United after being linked with the head coach vacancy at the club.

The Whites are looking for a new boss following the sacking of Dave Hockaday last month, and owner Massimo Cellino has confirmed that he will not offer caretaker manager Neil Redfearn the job.

Sabella, who joined the West Yorkshire outfit as a player in 1980, is currently out of work after guiding Argentina to the World Cup final in Brazil this summer.

"The Leeds situation is intriguing, and I feel I have unfinished business with that club," TEAMtalk quotes the 59-year-old as saying.

Sabella made 23 appearances for Leeds before returning to Argentina with Estudiantes in 1981.
