Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has called for potential investors to take a chance with the club following their 2-1 victory over Everton in the League Cup.
The Championship outfit are in talks with several potential investors, and Warnock believes that the impressive scalp could speed up negotiations.
"There are ongoing talks with a number of parties and they've been talking to one group for quite a few months now," he told talkSPORT.
"Everyone is just crossing their fingers really because we do need an investment.
"The potential [is there], how many other teams get 30-odd thousand fans in? That's what you're talking about when you talk about Leeds. So last night's result hopefully would have given them all a bit of a push."
Goals from Aidy White and Rodolph Austin fired Leeds through to the fourth round of the competition, where they will take on Southampton at Elland Road.
