Agent Oscar Bentancourt has suggested that Abel Hernandez would prefer to sign for another English club this summer.
Hernandez has spent the last four years at Hull City but the Uruguayan international is out of contract and will look for a new team.
CSKA Moscow have made an approach for the 27-year-old but Bentancourt has said that the offer of a deal was rejected due to low wages.
Bentancourt told Championait: "CSKA really came out to us with a proposal not so long ago. This is a very good team. The only problem was that their original proposal was too low for money.
"In addition, Abel is interested in many clubs in England. Let's see what happens."
Aston Villa, Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers have all been linked with an approach for the attacker.
