Report: Gordon Greer to sign new Brighton & Hove Albion deal

Brighton captain Gordon Greer will reportedly sign a new contract on the South Coast after a bid was rejected from Leeds.

Brighton & Hove Albion captain Gordon Greer will reportedly sign a new contract on the South Coast after a bid was rejected from Leeds United.

The 32-year-old is said to have been one of Brian McDermott's main targets as he looks to strengthen his defence.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the Leeds bid has been turned down and the Scotland international will now commit himself to the Seagulls.

Brighton's season has begun poorly under new manager Oscar Garcia with three straight losses, two in the league and one to Newport County in the cup.
