Leeds United have reportedly failed with their latest attempt to sign Southampton forward Che Adams.
Having seen Eddie Nketiah return to parent club Arsenal, Marcelo Bielsa is keen to bring in a new frontman before the end of the January transfer window.
There have been widespread reports regarding an interest in Adams, who has found himself in and out of the Saints starting lineup since moving to St Mary's last year.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Premier League outfit have little interest in parting ways with the 23-year-old.
Despite Adams failing to score in the top flight this season, Southampton have allegedly rejected a loan deal with the option of a £20m permanent switch to Elland Road later in 2020.
With just over a week remaining of the window, the Championship side may opt to turn their attention elsewhere.
