Leeds United have revealed that they have rejected a bid for Luciano Becchio from a foreign club.
The club have also stated that there has been no contact from Turkish giants Galatasaray about the player's availability.
The striker, who has scored 19 goals for Neil Warnock's side this season, handed in a transfer request on Thursday, with financial reasons being the reported reason behind the move.
The Argentine has 18 months left on his current contract and has been offered a new three-and-a-half-year deal at the club.
Warnock has confirmed that the deal will not be improved in a bid to keep Becchio at Elland Road.
