Leeds United are reportedly planning a surprise move for Luton Town midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu in the remaining hours of the transfer window.
The 23-year-old, who can also play as a defender, moved to the League Two outfit in 2014 after stints with West Ham United and Boreham Wood.
Leeds owner Massimo Cellino is said to have been impressed by Mpanzu when he came on for Luton during their EFL Cup clash at Kenilworth Road earlier this month.
The Whites are in the market for a midfielder and a striker before the window closes after a lacklustre start to the season that has seen them sit fourth bottom of the Championship.
According to the Yorkshire Post, Leeds are also interested in young West Ham United forward Ashley Fletcher, as well as Zulte-Waregem left-back Bryan Verboom.
