Leeds United are reportedly hopeful of signing winger Cameron Stewart from Hull City this week.
Reports emerged towards the end of last month that the Championship outfit were in talks with the 22-year-old.
It appears that a deal is edging closer, with Leeds manager Brian McDermott keen to tie up the transfer before Saturday's derby against Sheffield Wednesday, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Reports have claimed that Stewart was left out of Hull's side for their 2-0 win over Middlesbrough in the third round of the FA Cup this week at Leeds' request to prevent him from being cup-tied.
