Leeds United manager Brian McDermott has claimed that he is keeping an eye on the loan market after failing to land a new signing on Friday.
The former Reading boss, who recently secured Conor Wickham and goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan, lost out on a new signing before Saturday's 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers.
"We had someone that we tried to get and we got knocked back late on Friday," the Yorkshire Evening Post quotes McDermott as saying. "So we'll see.
"We've signed a couple of players in the past week and if there's someone who we think can make a difference again, we'll do it."
McDermott recently revealed that he has looked into the availability of West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison.
