Leeds United are reportedly close to signing Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland on a loan basis.
The England international is currently out of favour at the Britannia Stadium, with manager Mark Hughes having preferred Asmir Begovic between the posts.
Leeds manager Brian McDermott is eager to recruit competition for current number one Paddy Kenny, with 20-year-old Butland his main target, according to the Daily Mail.
The report added that Butland captured McDermott's attention while on loan with Barnsley earlier in the season, during which time he kept a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Leeds.
Butland, who could hold talks with McDermott today, signed for Stoke in January 2013 from Birmingham City.
